We spent a beautiful day in east Santa Barbara at Franklin Elementary School working with students of iCAN’s El Sistema inspired music program. When one thinks of Santa Barbara, underserved children is not usually the first thing that comes to mind. iCAN however, the Incredible Children’s Art Network, brings the arts to over 3,200 children in Santa Barbara Title I schools not designated as a charter or school of choice.
