Last month, I had the unique opportunity to lead a series of workshops in music for social change with the talented and thoughtful ensemble members of Giant Steps Music Action Lab in San Francisco. With musicians/social activists hailing from Pakistan, Rwanda, Brazil, Japan, Togo and the U.S., this programs brings together changemakers from across the globe to create social impact music in an innovative one-month residency.
